Presenter Info

Randy HaganRandy has 30 years of real world experience helping business and commercial publishers improve their print production operations, with more than 20 years of that experience in helping publishers, printers and design professionals use computerized design and production tools. Over that time he has learned a lot about what does – and doesn’t – work in a successful print production environment.

Like many publishing professionals, Randy has expanded his skills to include tools and skills to leverage traditional content into new areas, including web, video and multimedia production. As tools and techniques have been refined, Randy has developed more sophisticated and efficient solutions for making the most from legacy content and enhancing its presentation in new media.

Through his experiences as a trainer, industry consultant and publishing professional, Randy has acquired expert knowledge and experience in many print production programs, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat; QuarkXPress and specialized publication editorial and production applications. He also has expert knowledge and experience in Adobe Acrobat with regards to prepress, presentation and coordination/review issues. Through his training experience, Randy also has advanced knowledge in using Acrobat as a multimedia platform and as a forms creation tool.
