What is MVC Development?

MVC is an industry-standard web development framework that is often used to create scalable and extensible projects. MVC stands for Model-View-Controller. It is an architectural pattern that separates an application into three main logical components: the model, the view, and the controller. This is done to separate internal representations of information from the ways information is presented to and accepted from the user. The ASP.NET MVC framework is a lightweight, highly testable presentation framework that integrates with existing ASP.NET features, such as master pages and membership-based authentication.
