Online Video Delivery
I've logged onto my subscription but, all I get is a black screen that says, "content loading".


For Online Subscriptions experiencing the "content loading issue", you will need to do the following steps:

  1. Log out of the training and close the browser.
  2. Go to the Total Training homepage.
  3. Then go to "My Accounts" and enter your username and password there and click "sign-in".
  4. Once there you will see your account information. Go to the upper right hand corner and click on the "online training sign-in".

This should enable you to log into the online training and bypass the content loading.

How do I access the video tutorials?


Once you've purchased a subscription or activated a Guest Pass, you can access the online training videos through the Total Training Online interface. To access the portal directly, click here.
Please note that you may need to sign in to your account.

How does the training work online?

When you access Total Training Online, you will be provided with options that allow you to choose the lessons you want to watch. As you view the videos, the system will track your course progress allowing you to determine which videos you have already viewed. Playback of the training is continuous until you choose to stop viewing or change to a different video clip.

How are the training videos transmitted from Total Training's server to my computer?

Tutorials are viewed through the Total Training Online interface. They are delivered from a high-speed content delivery network to your computer using the standard web protocol over standard ports. By using standard web delivery mechanisms, Total Training eliminates problems that occur with firewalls and proxies when streaming video.

How do the Project Files work? Can I download them?

Project Files are designed to help you practice the lesson as you watch the presenter. Project Files can be downloaded as an archive from the Total Training Online interface. To download, go to the Project Files tab and select the lesson for which you want to download Project Files. Select either .zip (Windows-based computers) or .sit (Mac computers). On the next screen, right-click the "click here" link and choose "Save As" to your desktop or your preferred location. The Project Files will be downloaded to your desired location.

Please note that if you have activated a 2-day Guest Pass, you will see duplicate course titles until your Guest Pass expires. Project Files will only appear in one of the two course listings.

Is watching the online videos secure?

Yes, watching the online videos does not expose your computer to any potential risk.

I just purchased an Online subscription, but I don't see it displayed in the Total Training Online interface. Why?

This might happen if you have activated a Guest Pass and your 2-day trial is still active. Once you purchase a subscription, launch the Total Training Online interface and go to the My Subscriptions tab. Now, using the drop down menu, select your recently purchased subscription.



Interface/Library
Am I able to pause, fast forward and rewind the training videos when viewing them online?

Yes, you can quickly move to any topic in the training by selecting a particular clip in the interface. Controls are provided for pause and fast forward or reverse. In addition, as the clip is downloaded it becomes possible to move forward or backward through the clip as desired by selecting a point on the progress bar.

Am I able to jump between different video tutorials easily?

Yes, it is a simple process to select which lesson you want to watch. The Total Training Online interface provides you with a list of tutorials to choose from and you can even select a topic within a specific tutorial.

Is there search functionality within the Online Training interface?

There is a basic search function in the initial version of Total Training Online. You can enter keywords and see a list of matching topics. Simply select a topic to watch the tutorial clip. Your search results are preserved so that you can scan through them and view multiple topics for each search.

What is the size of the online training interface and can I view it full screen?

Our Online interface is intended to take up the full screen for most users. The video size is 960 pixels wide by 704 pixels high. At this time, to preserve image quality, you can not resize the video.

Will the online training interface stay on top of other programs? If I go into another program, will I see the interface or will it minimize?

The interface runs in a standard web browser and the behavior of that web browser is unchanged. The interface will not stay on top in most cases.

What is your refund policy?

Renewal
At the end of my subscription, will it be automatically renewed?

Yes, all subscriptions automatically renew unless written notice of the intent not to renew the Agreement is tendered by either party no less than 2 business days after renewal date of the agreement.
