Using CSS to Format Links
If you don't like the way text looks when it's turned into a link, you can change the formatting, alter the colors, font, and even remove the underline. Just follow these instructions:
To change link colors, choose Show File | Properties, and in the Page Properties dialog, choose the Formatting tab and you can specify colors for all four link states: Hyperlink (the color a link displays in when it is first displayed on a page), Visited Hyperlink (the color a link displays in after a user has clicked on the link), Active Hyperlink (the color a link displays when a user is actively clicking on the link), and Hovered Hyperlink (the color a link appears in when a user's cursor is hovering over the link.)
When you specify link colors in the Page Properties dialog, four new styles appear in the Manage Styles task pane.
If you want to remove the underline style from your links, right click on the style named (for the anchor tag) and choose Modify Style.
In the Modify Style dialog, set Text Decoration to None.
To view the effects of all of your new links styles, preview the page in a Web browser.
Don't let the default HTML settings determine your design options, put CSS to work for you, and make your style your links to match your design.

Q: |
|
What is your favorite project you have ever worked on? |
| A: |
|
Currently, I am directing a digital animation short on Storm Troopers. They scared me as a kid, but when you animate them, they're just so cute! |
Q: |
|
What puts you in the creative mood and gets the creative juices flowing? |
| A: |
|
Just getting re-charged! I may crank some serious rock and roll on my iPod, go jogging or play Nintendo with my kids. |
Q: |
|
What are your favorite features for Photoshop Elements 5? |
| A: |
|
I suppose this isn't a feature technically, but the price of Photoshop Elements 5 is just so remarkably inexpensive for what it offers!
I also like the fact that Photoshop Elements 5 is a complete photo lover's package. You can import your images, organize them, fix them, and then put them in a gallery and post that gallery to the web. All from Elements - it is just incredible!
I also like the interactive galleries you can create in Elements.
