 Steve Holmes is an award-winning print and web designer, an animator and a frequent speaker at design conferences worldwide. Steve began his creative training in England at Ware College for the City & Guilds in Design for Print & Typography. After graduating, he set up the studio of Copywrite Stationery in Duxford, near Cambridge. While working at the studio, he received two letters of personal commendation from Steven Spielberg for his work on Jurassic Park and Small Soldiers. In 1994, Steve began working on a freelance basis, expanding his impressive portfolio with projects for clients such as Warner Bros, the BBC, Nike, Virgin Records, Pixar, Guinness, Daihatsu and Marvel Comics.

Steve began supporting Adobe® Systems UK in 1998 with freelance projects, when he was recruited to train their top sales force on After Effects®. His career took him to the United States when he was asked to serve as a presenter at NAB. Since his first presentation at NAB, Steve has been supplying presentations, master classes and interactive sessions on all of Adobe's creative graphics software.
Steve served as Total Training's Director of Design and Animation from April 2002 through April of 2005. He played a critical role in designing content, creating scripts, and serving as host for training on Adobe® After Effects®, Video Collection, Creative Suites, InDesign® CS and LiveMotion 2.0.
Recently awarded two Webby Awards for his work on the Words at Play web site he did for Adobe, he is now the Creative Director of Energi Design in Sausalito, CA, where he continues to design and animate for a wide range of clients, as well as teach and provide design seminars on the packages and processes he uses every day.
